"In 2011 my son (now 3yrs old)and I married my best friend. And say we married him because we were and still are a package deal! With me you get him! So we gained a very large red neck daddy and who would have known how much life would change for us! My son and I were already very close with my mother and her family but oh boy do they love our red neck! In the past year we have moved out of my moms house an into our own little humble apartment. It's not our dream home but its our home and its filled with so much love and laughter! My husband has an amazing job that allows him to not have to work Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately in October a 3000lb steel rod fell on his hand crushing his index finger and breaking his middle finger leaving him unable to work while the hand is recovering there was talk of having to chop a digit off but mobility in the finger has returned just not feeling so were still hanging in there. With him being home ALL the time it has left for a TON more family time which is A-O-K with us! Our son was accepted into head start this year and has the most amazing teachers any parent could ask for and he loves it! Being so family oriented both mommy and daddy get him ready for school and drop him off to school (and then my nephew off to his school-he comes over in the mornings and gets ready at our house-and has been a BIG influence on my son seeing he has been around him for 3 years!) and pick him up every day! We always eat dinner together at the table as a family it's very important to us to have a time to talk about our days! Well let me go further on that- my husband is my best friend (as I stated before) he brings home the bacon and puts up with my requests, traditions, and much more then that he does it happily! He wasn't raised with talking at the table he was raised sit shut up and eat when your done clean your plate and excuse yourself so it took many months of breaking those habits to get to the point of where we sit and eat an share what we did today! We have family game night and family movie night too. Something that is much loved by our son! Every Saturday morning we meet my grandma and grandpa for breakfast either before or after a game (currently we are in the off season but spring and fall are filled with soccer and football summer is filled with swim team but more on that another time) and Sundays are filled with church and extended family dinner (both sets of my grandparents,aunts uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters, and my mom and dad) all of which is much loved by the littles in the family! We attend each others games and awards cerominies at all cost! So to say we are a team is not hard to see and something we instill into the littles starting at birth! All for one and one for all! :) "
